If you are looking for a rewarding career and want to work within an epic team that will help you grow and thrive, then you have come to the right place. Working within our South View Gardens service, you can start your day knowing that what you do really makes a difference!

We are seeking a highly motivated Mental Health and Wellbeing Worker to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality, person-centred support to five adults within their own homes. This is a small Housing Support and Care at Home Service registered with the Care Inspectorate.

You will become part of a dynamic service demonstrating professionalism, safeguarding, reflective practice, and continuous service improvement. By collaborating with individuals, their families, and multi-agency professionals, you will strive to promote positive mental and physical wellbeing through preventative and early intervention approaches. Supporting individuals during periods of distress with sensitivity, developing coping strategies, and accessing appropriate services is essential.

In this role, you will support individuals to increase their life skills in line with their preferences and the Health and Social Care Standards. Duties may include medication support and domestic tasks.

Promoting communication is vital so individuals can participate in decisions and express their personality and talents. As a key worker, you will assist individuals in progressing and reviewing their recovery using coaching approaches and toolkits. The service also facilitates joint activities to help individuals and their recovery team learn about health, safety, and wellbeing.

It is an exciting time to join our service as we are a new service aiming to become part of the local community in Nigg.

Having a driving licence and access to a car would be desirable. The role involves sleepover shifts, which are paid at an additional rate.

As a mental health charity, we value our staff's wellbeing. You will join a friendly team that offers a supportive environment, including all necessary training to help you feel confident and equipped.

We offer a range of employee benefits and opportunities for career development, including new skills, formal and informal learning experiences, and practical application of your continual progress.
