We are an established and growing mental health clinic in Cochrane, Alberta, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychologist or Registered Social Worker to join our team. This is an opportunity for a skilled therapist to work primarily within our Adolescent DBT Program .

As a member of our practice, you’ll play an integral role in supporting adolescents and adults with complex mental health challenges. Our clinic is committed to providing evidence-based treatment, and we offer a collaborative, supportive environment where you can thrive professionally.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide both individual and group therapy to adolescents within a comprehensive DBT program.
  • Work with adolescents facing suicidality, self-harm urges, substance use concerns, and emotional dysregulation.
  • Engage in individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy sessions.
  • Participate in regular consult team meetings and case consultations.
  • Stay up to date on relevant research and trainings.

Qualifications :

  • Registered Psychologist or Registered Social Worker with current professional licensing in Alberta. We are unfortunately not looking for a CCC at this time.
  • Formal training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) considered an asset.
  • Experience working with adolescents facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Experience working with families considered an asset.
  • Trauma-informed training and experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team-based environment.
