Recovery Alberta seeks a Mental Health Therapist in Grande Prairie. You will deliver individual, family and group therapy within a multidisciplinary team, using evidence-informed crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, and case management to support persons with significant mental health difficulties.

The role requires a Master's degree in psychology, social work (clinical), OT, nursing or related field, and eligibility for regulatory registration in Alberta, with three years of

• Master's level degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, nursing, or psychiatric nursing.
• Active or eligible for registration with Alberta regulatory college.
• Three years of therapy experience.
• Must have RAPI practice enhancement eligibility.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Recovery Alberta currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be required to use a variety of treatment modalities (individual, family and group) to persons experiencing significant mental health difficulties. Working both independently and as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide evidence informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management and treatment.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology; a master's degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) with education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy; a master's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with training and experience in mental health assessment and the provision of psychotherapy; or a master's degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing with training and experience in mental health assessment and the provision of psychotherapy. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Restricted Activity Psychosocial Interventions (RAPI) practice enhancement, as part of your regulatory body. You must be eligible to obtain this practice enhancement.Three (3) years of therapy experience.
