Job summary

Interior Health is seeking a permanent part-time Clinical Nurse Specialist, Mental Health & Substance Use. The CNS provides clinical leadership, leads quality improvement, and supports evidence-informed nursing practice across the Mental Health & Substance Use domain.

You will develop educational programming, participate in research, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to advance best practices and outcomes within Interior Health’s care settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 5 years of related clinical experience.
• Current BCCNM practicing registration.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
• Valid BC Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to CNS team and nursing staff.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and education programs.
• Develop and implement evidence-informed practice and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Design and deliver educational programming for staff and stakeholders.
