Beyond direct clinical work, you will facilitate psychoeducational workshops, contribute to program development and evaluation, and may assist with hiring, training, and supervision of graduate students as part of CCS

Reporting to the Director of Counselling & Clinical Services (CCS), the mental health counsellor delivers single session therapy and first-session assessment and intervention to students at the University of Alberta. This is a chance to practice within a responsive system that prioritizes rapid access. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, doctoral residents, and master's practicum students.
Beyond direct clinical work, the role includes facilitating psychoeducational workshops and skills-based programming, and contributing to program development and evaluation alongside CCS leadership. The counsellor may also assist with hiring, training, and/or supervision of graduate students.
