Your Opportunity:

  1. Work as a member of an interdisciplinary team, providing assessment and treatment recommendations for seniors with complex mental health issues in Long-term Care, supported living facilities, and rehabilitation/transitional units.
  2. Support professional caregivers and family members as needed.
  3. Consult and liaise with other professionals to facilitate coordinated mental health services for seniors and their families.
  4. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Successful applicants will become employees of Recovery Alberta upon hiring.

Description:

  1. Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver care for individuals, families, and communities.
  2. Conduct intake, clinical interviews, and screening for clients with addiction and mental health disorders.
  3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and participate in program planning, development, and supervision of practicum students.
  4. This role is open to Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychologists, and Occupational Therapists.
