The role provides structured learning and a stepping stone toward specialized teams providing a continuum of mental health care for individuals and organizations. This position operates 24/7, including statutory holidays, requiring availability for days, afternoons, and nights. It is a Work from Home role, necessitating a safe, quiet home office environment with minimal distractions and a reliable internet connection of at least 75 Mbps download speed. Equipment such as a computer, telephone, and headset will be provided. The office setup must allow a physical, cable-connected telephone connection to your router.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Coordinate Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) services, including counselling, legal, financial, and nutritional support via phone and email.
  • Ensure clients are matched appropriately with services and clinical professionals.
  • Enter client data into electronic records and respond to incoming calls.
  • Identify crisis calls, conduct risk assessments, coordinate transfers to specialists, and provide safety planning as needed.
  • Respond to client feedback and challenges regarding EFAP services and eligibility.
What We’re Looking For
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written; French language skills are an asset.
  • A university degree is preferred; however, relevant experience and education will be considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and adaptability to new systems.
  • Ability to listen, remain calm, and show empathy in stressful situations.

English language skills are essential as the role involves supporting, communicating, and collaborating with both French and English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country.
