Job summary

EHN Canada is seeking a Mental Health & Addiction Support Worker for the Willowview Recovery Centre near Regina, Saskatchewan. The role ensures coverage during counsellor and admin staff absences, providing compassionate client support and safety-focused care in a 60-bed inpatient setting.

You will greet and triage intakes, conduct mental health check-ins, respond to crises, coordinate with nursing and shelter teams, and assist with discharge planning and referrals while upholding

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mental Health, Addictions, Community Support, Social Work, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; CPR/First Aid + Non-Violent crisis training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and triage new intakes focusing on safety and basic needs.
• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and nonjudgmental listening.
• Monitor mental health and substance use crises and respond to overdoses.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, security, and shelter personnel.
• Participate in shift summaries and team debriefs.
• Assist with discharge planning and client transport when needed.
