Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness is seeking a front desk guest services representative in Canada to warmly welcome members, present the OTF concept, and drive membership sales. You will handle front desk duties, give studio tours, and work with trainers to guide newcomers through their first workout.

This role emphasizes excellent communication, a passion for fitness, and teamwork in a busy studio. Applicants should be team-oriented, motivated, and comfortable engaging with members and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Welcome everyone entering the studio with energy and knowledge.
• Present the OTF concept to interested consumers (intros).
• Manage front desk duties including phone calls and member interactions.
• Give studio tours and guide intros through the first Orangetheory workout.
• Collaborate with trainers to support intros.
• Sell memberships to support studio growth and follow up with prospects.
• Address member concerns professionally and aim for resolution.
• Participate in marketing and outreach events.
• Keep all studio areas clean and organized.

• Welcoming everyone who enters the studio with enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge
• Presenting the OTF concept to any interested consumers, also known as "intros"
• Working at our front desk which includes answering phones and talking to members among other tasks
• Giving studio tours
• Working hand-in-hand with trainers to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout
• Selling memberships to help the studio thrive
• Following up on prospective clients
• Handling members’ concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
• Participating in marketing and outreach events
• Ensuring all areas of the studio are kept clean and organized

Orangetheory is a science-based, full-body workout that uses technology to measure performance so members can prove they are improving. In a 60-minute class, led by a highly trained and certified coach, members target at least twelve minutes in the Orange Zone to raise their heart rate and charge up metabolism. The result is an increase in calorie burn post-workout, backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC). After twelve minutes of hard work in the Orange Zone, your body burns additional calories as you recover over the next 24 hours.

• It's a great place to be. Management is very supportive! It's a competitive environment with sales, but great rewards and motivation. Free membership at the gym which is great. I was treated so fairly and it is a great work environment. They give lots of room to grow as long as you work hard and are passionate and motivated. A good job for a problem solver and hard worker!
