Job description

The Junior League of Calgary (JLC) is a membership organization that collaborates with various partners in the Calgary community to improve life for at-risk people. As a result, the JLC offers a variety of different direct and indirect opportunities that may occur one time, twice monthly, or monthly.

JLC members volunteer in identified roles with our community partners to address critical unmet needs in our community. Since we run our own non-profit, volunteer opportunities are available for members in governance, management, and operations. Members build skills through their committee work as well as through training opportunities. We also have the opportunity to meet like-minded women and build lifelong friendships.

Requirements

• Willing to undergo a background or police records check
• Comfortable commuting to opportunity location
• Over the age of majority in the province of opportunity
