Member Service Representative - St. Paul Branch

Posting Closes: May 16, 2025

Employment Status: Casual *Hours vary - no minimum guaranteed (Monday - Friday). This position will be required to cover Elk Point as needed.

Compensation: Based on education and experience.

Additional Information: Temporary 12-month contract.

Role Overview

As a Member Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact in our branch, providing a friendly and personalized experience to our members. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing courteous service, exceeding expectations, and making members feel at home.
  2. Processing transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, credit card advances, and foreign exchange.
  3. Understanding member needs and promoting appropriate products and services.
  4. Achieving sales and referral goals.
  5. Resolving member concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
  6. Applying knowledge of policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
  7. Contributing positively to branch morale and teamwork.
Requirements

Must have customer service, proven sales, cash-handling experience, and a high school diploma. Preferred assets include experience in financial institutions and post-secondary education in Finance or related fields.
