What you do at work matters. But who you are matters more. Get to know our members and help them reach their goals as a Member Service Representative (MSR) in our Contact Centre.
You will create exceptional member experiences by making a difference every day—whether you're processing routine transactions or making suggestions and referrals for financial products and services. As an MSR II, your job includes providing a variety of services related to the promotion and sales of non-cash financial services, solutions, and alternatives such as opening memberships and deposit accounts, including terms, RRSPs, and TFSAs.
A good MSR has strong communication skills and can utilize various media, including but not limited to telephone, email, and internet chat.
Post-secondary education in Business is the minimum requirement for this position, but you will have an advantage if you can effectively use technology to integrate with other service delivery channels. One year of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is required. Knowledge of Cornerstone Credit Union's products and services is a plus. This position offers opportunities for on-the-job learning and career development.
*Successful candidates must be able to work a combination of days and evenings, Monday through Saturday when required. This position is considered part-time (52.50 hours/week) for an anticipated 18-month term, which may be shortened or extended depending on organizational needs.
