Job summary

Provincial Credit Union in Wellington, PE, is hiring a Member Service Representative at our Evangeline branch. Join a people-first employer ranked among Canada’s Top 100 Employers and gain valuable banking experience while serving Islanders.

You will process daily transactions, help members with products, and provide a friendly, accurate experience. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are valued; bilingual FR/EN is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Customer service experience is an asset; we welcome applicants from retail, hospitality, administrative, and other service-focused backgrounds.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is considered an asset.

What You’ll Do:
  • Be the first point of contact for members visiting the branch.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and other daily transactions.
  • Help members understand products and services that can support their financial goals.
  • Deliver a friendly, accurate, and efficient member experience.
What You Have:
Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Customer service experience is considered an asset; we welcome applicants from retail, hospitality, administrative, and other service-focused backgrounds.
Skills and Abilities
  • Experience and eagerness to provide superior customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
  • Professional manner and poise, and sensitivity in dealing with confidential information and materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency required in Microsoft Suite and demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English considered an asset.
