What this role is all about :

Beem Credit Union is looking for a Member Services Advisor (Temporary, Months) to join our Fort St. John Branch. As a Member Service Advisor at Beem, you play a vital role in driving our company's financial success. By addressing our members' core needs with excellence, you not only enhance their experience but also identify opportunities to recommend and cross-sell additional products and services.

What you’ll do :

• Open accounts, process investments & lending transactions.
• Conduct loan interviews and collect relevant information for credit risk assessment.
• Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, wires, drafts, and term deposits.
• Adhere to standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with branch administrative duties like outgoing cheque deposits, ATM balancing, and Night Deposit.
• Balance treasury blotter and post transactions daily.
• Possess years of job-related experience in a financial sales and service environment.
• Have a basic understanding of credit products and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable in a full range of investment products.
• Financial planning courses are considered an asset.
• Hold a High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
