Job summary

Northern Credit Union is seeking a temporary part-time Member Representative in Englehart, Ontario. The role focuses on addressing member inquiries, analyzing needs, and guiding members through a range of banking products and services to meet their requirements.

You will process financial transactions and support the branch team to achieve goals. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of sales experience, plus knowledge of Credit Union products and MS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent banking and customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of proven sales experience.

• Knowledge of basic Credit Union products, services and systems.
• Moderate knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and office equipment.

As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a temporary part-time Member Representative in our Englehart market.

The Member Representative plays a crucial role in enhancing our members' experience by collaborating with their branch team and internal partners. Their primary focus is to address member inquiries, analyze individual needs, and guide members in utilizing a diverse range of products and services tailored to meet their specific requirements. This includes providing assistance in navigating through the available offerings and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions through the banking system.

They must excel at working towards a standard of excellence and striving towards reaching and exceeding goals as a self-starter and also in support of their team.

Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma and equivalent banking and customer service experience.
• Minimum one year of proven sales experience.
• Commitment to continuous learning and owning their own growth.
• Knowledge of basic Credit Union products, services and systems.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the use of modern office equipment.
• Ability to process transactions, handle cash and balance in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and written) with members and co-workers in a courteous, friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Ability to efficiently organize work and time to meet daily deadlines.

Starting Wage:

$24.22/hour
