The Advisory Board of the Better Business Bureau serving Greater Ottawa is seeking members from the Accredited Business Community to join us in shaping the future activities and reach of the BBB in the region!

PLEASE NOTE: This is an unpaid, volunteer role. Board Members must also be representatives of BBB Accredited Businesses in good standing.

We are looking for business leaders from diverse industries to support and advise on the BBB's community outreach activities, support Accredited Businesses, and build upon the Marketplace Based on Trust.

The BBB Advisory Board helps shape the future and strengthen our community!

Responsibilities

  • Attend Quarterly Board meetings (in person preferred, virtual arrangements if necessary)
  • Complete Advisory Board Orientation
  • Read and contribute to the board agenda
  • Support BBB initiatives, events, and mentorship opportunities
  • Uphold BBB Values in business and public practices

Qualifications

  • Be a leader/representative for a BBB Accredited Business in Good Standing
  • Willing to attend Board Meetings
  • Participate in Focus Committees and Marketing Campaigns (if requested)

We seek leaders from industries such as Hospitality, Retail, Finance/Accounting, Legal, and Auto Sales/Service to diversify the board's perspectives.
