About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced Board Advisor for Sales with deep expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) —particularly in SAP technologies —to help shape and scale our go-to-market strategy. This strategic advisory position is ideal for a seasoned sales executive or enterprise strategist who has led high-performing teams and helped technology companies grow from early to mid-market to enterprise scale.

You will work closely with the founding team to :

  • Provide insight into ERP buying cycles, customer personas, and competitive positioning
  • Guide and mentor our sales team on enterprise deal structuring, SAP procurement pathways, and partner ecosystems
  • Open doors to new enterprise relationships and refine account penetration strategies
  • Shape long-term revenue and partnership goals

Key Responsibilities :

  • Advise the CEO and leadership team on sales strategy , revenue planning, and ERP solution positioning in SAP-led markets
  • Provide strategic input on target verticals, value messaging, and enterprise sales cycles
  • Help identify and pursue strategic alliances, VARs, and co-sell opportunities within the SAP ecosystem
  • Offer tactical guidance on proposal development, RFP responses, and contract negotiation
  • Review and advise on compensation structure, sales KPIs, and channel strategy
  • Participate in quarterly board discussions and ad-hoc strategy sessions

Qualifications :

  • 15+ years of experience in ERP sales leadership , with a strong focus on SAP (ECC, S / 4HANA, BTP, or RISE)
  • Proven track record of building or advising high-growth sales teams in the tech or consulting sector
  • Deep understanding of SAP go-to-market motions , including Public Sector, Utilities, Manufacturing, and Mid-Market
  • Strong C-level network across North America in ERP and technology buyer circles
  • Experience advising or sitting on boards / startups is preferred
