Job description

Within the Wind River Operating System team, we work on projects that deliver mission-critical, robust, and deterministic Real Time Operating Systems suitable for a wide variety of mission-critical applications, including aerospace and automotive industries. We are looking for experienced and high-performing individuals who can learn and contribute to these technologies.

Who You Will Work With :

The successful candidate will join a highly skilled "Helix Virtualization Platform" development team delivering mission-critical Real-Time Operating Systems for avionics and automotive applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and deliver high-quality design and code.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality documentation used for DO-178 certification evidence.
  • Review DO-178 artifacts and provide guidance to ensure compliance with Certification standards.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development process using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications / Skills :

  • BSc / MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer / Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant technical experience in software development.
  • Strong analytical skills in the C programming language.
  • Ability to obtain NSA clearance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Python and Linux shell scripting.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills.
  • Experience with RTOS software development is a plus.
  • Exceptional team player with collaborative skills.
  • Self-managed, quick learner with a desire to master new technologies.
  • Familiarity with iterative and agile/scrum development processes.
  • Certification experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with ARM / Intel / RISC-V SoC architectures is a plus.
  • Experience with Virtualization is beneficial.
