Job summary

Wetaskiwin Co-op in central Alberta is hiring a full-time cashier to join our store team. You will process transactions, assist customers, and promote store promotions while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Applicants should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and be available for weekends and holidays. Previous cashier experience is an asset; Mi9 POS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier experience is an asset.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Process cash, debit, credit, gift cards, and cheques using Mi9 POS.
• Respond to inquiries and stay informed on in-store promotions and products.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and merchandising standards.
• Troubleshoot till and customer-service issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
