Vancity is seeking a Part-Time Financial Services Representative at the South Burnaby Community Branch. You’ll be the first contact for members, delivering personalized service, guiding them toward suitable financial solutions, and helping them navigate our digital tools.

Join a team focused on member satisfaction, compliance, and growth, reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager at Branch 17. Weekend shifts may apply based on branch hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Customer service experience in service-oriented roles preferred.
• Sales orientation with goal-driven mindset.
• Digital literacy including CRM systems and online banking tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to document interactions accurately.
• Multilingual ability and community engagement are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet members warmly and connect through attentive interactions.
• Understand members' needs across Everyday Banking, Borrowing, Investments, and Protection.
• Provide guidance and connect members to appropriate products or specialists.
• Teach members to use online tools for self-service banking.
• Own interactions by following through on commitments and coordinating hand-offs.
• Maintain professionalism and ensure member satisfaction through follow-ups and compliance.
