MEI is an independent Pre-K-12 school system with over 1500 students. All applicants must be dedicated to Christian education. The MEI Advancement Department is seeking qualified applicants for the following position with the intended start date of September 1, 2025.

MEI Advancement Consultant and Donor Relations

10-month part-time appointment

Job Title: Advancement Consultant & Donor Relations (Part-Time, Flexible)

Location: Remote or Hybrid

Hours: Part-Time, Flexible

Compensation: $40,000 over 10-months paid September to June

About The Role

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Advancement consultant to support our fundraising efforts and cultivate donor relationships. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for a results-driven professional who values mission-driven work and thrives on building meaningful partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Advancement Team to develop and execute fundraising strategies and events.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with donors and prospects.
• Research and identify new funding opportunities (individuals, foundations, and corporations).
• Assist with planning and coordination of donor engagement events.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve donor engagement.
• Lead event planning to support fundraising and alumni initiatives.
• Support school tours and school promotion.
• Use of online platforms, programs, and social media to support promotion and advertising strategies.

• Proven experience in fundraising, development, or donor relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and flexibly.
