Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate production processes, including CNC or manual equipment;
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve production issues;
  • Ensure quality and quantity of work, monitor processes, and perform routine maintenance;
  • Inspect own work with precision measuring equipment;
  • Record data accurately in production tracking systems;
  • Train other operators as needed;
  • May assist in other departments or machine setup;
  • Read and interpret production prints;
  • Use computer skills to access production procedures;
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards;
  • Maintain certification through the company's Operator Program.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 diploma;
  • Experience as a Grinding Set Up Operator or similar machining background.
