Mayfield Ford Lincoln in Brampton is seeking a Medium Duty Truck & Diesel Technician (310T) to join our service team within The Humberview Group. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium-duty trucks and diesel systems, collaborating with a team that values quality workmanship and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Truck and Coach Technician (310T) license.
• Experience as a technician with diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ford experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain medium-duty trucks and diesel vehicles.
• Use diagnostic equipment and reference materials to identify issues.
• Repair under warranty where applicable and document work performed.
• Test drive and verify repairs, ensuring safety and quality.

You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles while working alongside a team that values quality workmanship, efficiency, and getting the job done right.

What You’ll Do

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on medium-duty trucks and diesel vehicles.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to accurately identify and resolve issues.
• Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs.
• Examine trucks to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs have been completed properly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Follow manufacturer specifications, dealership procedures, and all safety requirements.
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Parts, and other Technicians to keep jobs moving efficiently.
• Stay current with new technologies, repair procedures, and technical training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Truck and Coach Technician (310T) License.
• Experience working in a technician position.
• Ford experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Experience with domestic brands would be considered an asset.
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work well with a team.
• A desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork.
