Job summary

Amica Mature Lifestyles Inc. at Amica Douglas House in Victoria seeks a Medication Care Partner for regular part-time shifts.

The role includes medication administration and resident care in a senior living setting, with a schedule Friday and Saturday mornings/evenings and Sunday/Monday evenings. Qualifications

  • Graduate from a recognized Personal Support Worker program or be enrolled in a nursing program or internationally certified nurse.
  • Medication Administration certification is required.
  • Ability to complete the Vulnerable Sector Check.
  • Level 1 First Aid, CPR/AED certificate is required.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications per care plan and monitor residents.
  • Provide personal care, support, and companionship to residents.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, engagement activities, and dining support.

What you will bring:
  • Willingness to learn and apply your learning on the job.
  • You are one of the following: a graduate from a recognized Personal Support Worker program, currently enrolled in a nursing program or an internationally certified nurse.
  • Medication Administration certification.

  • Level 1 First Aid, CPR / AED Certificate.
