Job description

The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts responsible for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual. The nurse demonstrates initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The RN effectively manages patient care by assuming full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, reporting directly to a designated nurse manager or supervisor. The Staff Nurse also ensures the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practices.

Requirements
  1. BSN required
  2. Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
  3. BLS required
  4. Medical/surgical/telemetry experience preferred
  5. Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E standards
  6. Evidence of basic analytic thinking necessary for patient care
  7. Observational skills and ability to set priorities
  8. Ability to function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills
  9. Effective skills in applying hospital standards, teamwork, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management
