Job description

The Medical Solutions Lead is responsible for implementing the medical strategy and collaborating with the Immunology Medical team, Marketing Leads, Education Stakeholder Development Lead, APEX, Sales, and Regulatory teams as needed. This role requires field presence and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. The Medical Strategy Lead will also maintain high levels of disease and product knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with the iPVU team to develop programs and materials that create patient value, guided by the Medical Strategy Lead.
  2. Serving as a scientific expert and leading Evidence Generation within the Canadian Immunology iPVU.
  3. Building partnerships with scientific influencers to enhance patient value.
  4. Advancing local initiatives with stakeholders.
  5. Ensuring compliance with operational and scientific standards.
  6. Contributing to strategic and tactical plans to deliver patient value and meet UCB’s objectives.
  7. Developing impactful educational programs and publication plans.
  8. Fostering relationships with national and regional KOLs.

Qualifications:

  1. Preferred: PhD with 5 years’ experience in a medical role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  2. Knowledge of the Canadian pharmaceutical environment and customer base.
  3. Proven track record in medical education programs.
  4. Established relationships with clinical experts in dermatology and rheumatology in Canada.
  5. Field-based role with a national scope; candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, preferably with immunology experience.
