Job description

The chosen candidate must provide administrative support to the individual and collective medical selection sector as well as to the issuance and medical pricing. He / She must enter data into several computer systems. They are the person who initiates the evaluation process of a file by ensuring that the necessary forms are properly completed while entering the administrative data into the computer systems.

This role ensures that medical examinations from providers and correspondence from the sales force are transferred to the correct files and directed to the appropriate departments (pricing selection or issuance). They ensure that the followup of medical requirements and additional information is processed according to established standards.

They are responsible for following up when different departments are waiting for documents.

  • Manage the medical selection email and fax inboxes.
  • Process documents according to service standards.
  • Handle reminders and administrative task requirements.
  • Search for missing documents.
  • Process medical selection cases.
  • Download medical exams from providers and route them to the appropriate files.
  • Provide administrative support and excellent customer service.

What youll need

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written in French and English
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in office management healthcare or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Autonomous and organized.
  • Knowledge of individual insurance products and contracts is considered an asset.
