Looking for a great MSL with Vaccine Specialty located in GTA or Ottawa Area

Responsibilities:
Job Purpose:

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will be responsible for applying your non-promotional medical acumen to ensure the safe and effective use of GSK’s products through impactful scientific interactions and support of key external and internal stakeholders in alignment with the therapeutic area Medical Plan. In this role, you will collaborate with field partners to provide credible scientific clinical information about our vaccines to healthcare professionals, external experts, organizations, and decision-makers, in a manner consistent with GSK’s principles for scientific engagement. This is a therapeutically aligned, field-based position requiring frequent travel.

This position covers the territory of: Eastern Ontario & Atlantic

The preferred candidate has 2-3+ years of previous experience in a medical affairs position (preferably field-based). Relationships/experience in cardio-renal-metabolic therapeutic areas and/or hospital/specialty therapeutic areas are strongly preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain scientific peer-to-peer relationships with specialists by presenting balanced scientific data, supporting medical educational opportunities, and providing scientific support following GSK standards and applicable laws.
  • Serve as the scientific field-based partner in the territory, maintaining a deep understanding of diseases, vaccines, treatments, and the competitive landscape.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders in a non-promotional manner, providing value and responsiveness to inquiries.
  • Act as a primary interface between the healthcare community and GSK teams, gathering and sharing insights to inform business strategies.
  • Represent GSK at scientific congresses, leading engagement plans, providing session coverage, and contributing to summaries.
  • Provide scientific training to GSK commercial colleagues on products and conditions treated.
  • Assist with evidence generation projects and support clinical trial site identification in Canada as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Required: MD, Ph.D., or PharmD; residence within Greater Toronto Area; valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 70%; excellent scientific and presentation skills; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; familiarity with Canadian healthcare landscape.
  • Preferred: 2-3+ years in medical affairs, experience in cardio-renal-metabolic or hospital/specialty areas.
