Job description

Job Description:

Hugel Aesthetics is seeking a highly skilled and scientifically driven Medical Science Liaison (MSL) and Marketing Manager to support our growing portfolio of aesthetic products. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a key medical expert, engaging with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide clinical education, facilitate scientific exchange, and respond to medical inquiries in a compliant and timely manner. You will be responsible for delivering training on the safe and effective use of our products, while collecting and communicating relevant field insights to inform internal strategy. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including Sales and Marketing—to ensure scientific accuracy in promotional materials and support product launches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aesthetics or dermatology, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. A demonstrated passion for medical education and improving patient outcomes is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, aesthetic physicians, and other key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Conduct field-based medical and scientific engagements, including educational discussions, clinical training, and presentations related to the company’s aesthetic portfolio.
  • Serve as a scientific expert and primary point of contact for external stakeholders seeking medical information, clinical data, or therapeutic insights.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
  • Provide in-depth clinical education and support to healthcare professionals regarding the safe and effective use of company products, including injectable biopharmaceuticals (e.g., botulinum toxins, hyaluronic acid fillers).
  • Gather, analyze, and report key medical insights, treatment trends, and unmet needs from the field to inform internal strategy and development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to contribute medical expertise during product launches, lifecycle management, and field team training.
  • Participate in the development and review of medical and promotional materials such as brochures, presentations, and sales materials, and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary liaison at scientific and professional meetings, congresses, and symposia, engaging with HCPs and supporting relevant medical activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of advisory boards, clinical investigator meetings, and other medical education events.
  • Contribute to the training of field teams and internal staff on scientific topics, therapeutic areas, and data relevant to our products.
  • Ensure all field activities are conducted in alignment with ethical, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required; advanced degree (MD or equivalent) highly regarded.
  • 1+ years of experience as an MSL or in a related role, with strong preference for prior experience in medical aesthetics.
  • In-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, aesthetic treatment modalities, injectable biopharmaceuticals (e.g., botulinum toxins, fillers), and the competitive landscape in medical aesthetics.
  • Proven clinical expertise in relevant therapeutic areas with the ability to translate complex scientific information to a variety of audiences.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with polished presentation abilities.
  • Experience in marketing to support brand strategy, training, and scientific messaging alignment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively in collaborative team settings.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Bilingual capabilities (region-dependent) are a plus.
