We have a new opportunity for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will develop and nurture relationships, and advance our scientific credibility with external experts (EEs). Your responsibilities include providing scientific/medical information to external experts and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scientific knowledge to credibly disseminate information to external experts and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in and follow-up on investigator-initiated studies, clinical studies, and medical projects within the therapeutic area.
• Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with external experts and academic centers.
• Deliver credible presentations on scientific topics to healthcare professionals.
• Assist in selecting qualified healthcare professionals for collaborative efforts such as research, advisory boards, and conferences.
• Attend scientific meetings and develop summaries of key data.

Qualifications:

• Doctorate, PharmD, or MD preferred; MSc with relevant experience considered.
• Relevant industry experience, previous MSL experience preferred.
• Background in Gastroenterology is an asset.
• Experience in scientific presentation and interpretation of research publications.
• Knowledge of clinical research methods and regulatory controls.

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with technology.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and passport.

Additional Notes:

Advanced knowledge of English and fluency are essential due to the nature of the role involving interactions outside Quebec and with English-speaking clients and regions.
