Description

Our client is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support the sales team in launching a revolutionary diagnostic tool and helping customers fully utilize the clinical potential of our products. The MSL will educate healthcare professionals on the benefits and clinical utility of our products, assist facilities in developing best practices and protocols, develop relationships with clinicians to establish key opinion leaders, and support the sales force with education and best practice sharing. Additionally, the MSL will assist laboratories in implementing our products and develop clinician-focused marketing tools and educational programs.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide education to hospital personnel on clinical pathways and the utility of Emergency Diagnostic products.
  • Support the development of a Key Opinion Leader Network.
  • Identify and develop clinical case studies.
  • Manage territory effectively.
  • Assist in field-based training of Emergency Diagnostic Specialists.

Required Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, MD, Clinical Infectious Disease Pharmacist, or an Advanced Public Health Degree, with experience in hospital-based clinical process implementation and improvement preferred.
  • Measurable clinical or nursing experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with infectious disease diagnosis, treatment, microbiology, or virology methods is desirable.
  • Knowledge of medical institution hierarchy and healthcare systems is required.
