RVH is seeking a MEDICAL RADIATION TECHNOLOGIST – MRT(R) to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our program, you will play a crucial role in all aspects of Radiography within our Medical Imaging team. Medical Imaging at RVH offers an expansive range of Radiography imaging programs including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Breast Imaging, and Interventional Radiology. As the hub of our region, we provide a high level of complex imaging across all modalities, including high-risk OBSP, advanced cardiac and acute stroke CT imaging, embolization and thrombolysis interventional procedures, and cutting-edge treatments such as Trans arterial Radioembolization. Qualifications:
  • Graduate of a recognized, accredited Radiography education program.
  • Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.
  • Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all required General Radiography examinations as prescribed by physicians, following relevant protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong team environment among Medical Radiation Technologists, nursing staff, radiologists, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency in all aspects of General Radiography and minor procedures.
  • Provide high-quality, safe, and compassionate patient care.
  • Participate in the evaluation of students from affiliated education programs as needed.
