Job summary

A healthcare organization in Ontario is looking for a Medical Radiation Technologist to perform general X-Ray and CT procedures. Candidates must be registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and have experience in medical radiation technology. This part-time role requires independent judgment and effective working relationships with patients and staff, offering a salary of $36.84 to $50.24 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario.
  • CT Imaging Certification or Equivalent an asset.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist required.
  • Clinical experience in the area of CT an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of procedures involving ionizing radiation.

Position Summary

The Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) is responsible for the safe, effective and efficient performance of a variety of procedures. The MRT will use independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the application of ionizing radiation.

Reports to: Manager, Medical Imaging

Date Required: As soon as possible

Salary: $36.84 to $50.24 per hour

Qualifications
  • Registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
  • CT Imaging Certification or Equivalent an asset
Experience
  • Previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist required.
  • Clinical experience in the area of CT an asset.
Abilities
  • Able to maintain an effective working relationship with patients, physicians, hospital staff and the public.
  • Must be able to work independently.
