This team is part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (JDMI), a partnership between the University Health Network, Mount Sinai Hospital and Women’s College Hospital. We are also fully affiliated with the University of Toronto. This allows for high levels of interdepartmental support along with plenty of training opportunities that you won’t experience anywhere else.
Highly adaptable and well-organized, you enjoy a fast-paced medical imaging environment. Your caring and compassionate nature, combined with excellent interpersonal skills, make you an integral part of the team. Collaborating with X-ray and Interventional Radiology teams, your workday will involve performing outpatient scans and providing coverage for the Emergency Department and Inpatients.
You can efficiently operate and troubleshoot medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance. As an independent and resourceful technologist, you find fulfillment in performing a variety of exams, including Enterography and Colonography, with shared protocols and Radiologists across multiple sites. Furthermore, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of Michener MRT students, enhancing your leadership skills.
Mount Sinai Hospital’s Medical Imaging Department provides a state-of-the-art environment for leading edge clinical practice, teaching, and research programs in Radiography. An international leader in medical imaging, we conduct a large volume of various types of Radiography exams for patient populations from the Emergency department to Outpatients and Inpatients.
