We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our Mobile X-Ray team at our Health Clinic located at 7404 - 139 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Healthcare Services, you will provide mobile x-ray services to community clients, ensuring high diagnostic quality safely and efficiently. The role involves maintaining mobile x-ray equipment and complying with safety standards. Work hours are from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm, Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Perform standard radiological imaging examinations for disease and pathology diagnosis.
  • Interpret physician requisitions, prepare patients, and produce diagnostic images for review.
  • Assist with equipment care and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Acts, Regulations, and policies, including Radiation Health and Safety standards.
  • Provide patient-centered care while maintaining regulatory and administrative standards.
  • Promote mobile x-ray services through excellent customer service.
  • Maintain and clean mobile x-ray equipment and contact surfaces.
  • Assess patient needs and adjust procedures accordingly.

EDUCATION :

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology.
  • Current registration in good standing with CAMRT or Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

All successful candidates must have prior to start date :

  • A current, clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector, obtained within 90 days before hire.
  • A tuberculosis screening completed within 12 months before hire.
