Your Opportunity:

Are you a dedicated and passionate Medical Radiation Technologist II (MRT) professional with strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills? The CT & Angio department at the Royal Alexandra Hospital offers a fast-paced environment supporting Trauma Services, Thoracic Surgery, ICU, and more. Patients are seen through the Emergency Department, inpatient units, and outpatient referrals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with sound judgment and decision-making abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential, especially when handling procedures such as drains and biopsies, and working with trauma patients. You thrive under pressure, adapt to shifting priorities, and are committed to ongoing learning and skill development. Collaboration with various healthcare disciplines is vital, fostering respect and partnership. Flexibility to work all shifts—including weekends, evenings, nights, and on-call—is required. You must also be capable of physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting, and transferring patients and supplies over 50 lbs. Extended wear of lead aprons (up to 6.75 hours) is also necessary.
