8:00a – 4:30p / Full Time / 40 Hours
The Medical Physicist Assistant will assist the Medical Physics team with routine quality assurance tasks. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform routine medical physics tasks under the supervision of a Medical Physicist. The Physics Data Analyst will assist in the collection of quality assurance data with various radiation detectors (EPID, ion chambers, diodes, survey meters, etc.) and other tasks under the supervision of a Medical Physicist.
This incumbent must be able to keep accurate records of data analysis and documentation and be able to present data to the Medical Physicists. The Medical Physicist Assistant will collaborate with members of the radiation oncology team (physicists, physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, nursing staff, IT, etc.) to carry out quality assurance and process improvement duties. Role will require other duties to support Division of Medical Physics as needed.
