What Does a Home Oxygen Technician Do?

This position provides oxygen services to our clients within a 4-hour radius of Thompson, MB, and supports remote communities. In a typical day, you'll start with a coffee in hand, energized and self-motivated to plan your day and ensure your truck is prepped with oxygen equipment. You’ll visit clients in their homes or residences, providing oxygen supplies and service, and boosting their confidence. Flexibility is key, as unexpected challenges may arise during your day.

You will also maintain a supply of oxygen cylinders, equipment, and supplies in our storage facility to ensure timely service. Basic cleaning, maintenance, and identifying equipment in need of repair are part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you'll handle shipping / receiving and inventory management, and use our software systems for administrative duties, including month-end reporting and updating electronic patient files.

Qualifications Needed

• Criminal and Vulnerable Sector Search / Child and Adult Abuse Registries required (if hired)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Strong organizational skills and tech-savviness
• Able to maneuver up to 120 lbs unassisted

• This is a part-time position, 2-3 days per week (15-22.5 hours), working days
