Medical Office Assistant (MOA) – Full-Time, Temporary (Up to 18 Months)

Location: On-Site | 500 4601 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC V5G 4X7
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Office Hours
Contract Length: Up to 18 months (with the possibility of extension)

Your Role & Responsibilities
Exceptional Patient Care
  • Schedule and coordinate clinical visits, ultrasounds, lab tests, and procedures.
  • Obtain vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure) and assist physicians with minor procedures.
  • Provide personalized, one-on-one coordination for fertility treatments, testing, and procedures.
Technical Expertise
  • Efficiently manage patient records and workflows using EMR systems.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and clear, effective communication skills.
Interpersonal & Team Collaboration
  • Deliver compassionate, top-tier customer service to patients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment while also excelling independently.
  • Communicate fluently in English (written & verbal).

Education & Certification

  • Medical Office Assistant diploma or certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Medical Office Assistant role or similar healthcare setting.
