Job summary

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is seeking a Call Centre Medical Office Assistant to be the first point of contact for patients calling our clinics. You will provide exemplary service, manage scheduling, and relay information to the team to keep operations smooth.

The role requires 0-2 years of related experience, a Medical Office Administration diploma, and strong English communication. CPR/First Aid certification is encouraged, and you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to uphold high

• Must have Diploma in Medical Office Administration or related field.
• Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to PHIPA regulations.
• CPR & First Aid certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, hospitals, and physician offices by telephone and email professionally.
• Review and address incoming fax requests from referring physicians.
• Strategically schedule and reschedule to optimize efficiency and reduce wait time.
• Adhere to changing policies and ensure messaging is reinforced with the team.
• Address and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner as directed.
• Prepare and organize reports or statistics as required.
• Perform other duties as needed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements

• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Diploma in Medical Office Administration or related field.
• Minimum typing speed of 35wpm.
• Good command of the English language, excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adherence to PHIPA.
• A strong ability to multi-task.
• Maintain competence in position by attending staff meetings.
• CPR & First Aid Certification is encouraged.
