Job summary

A healthcare organization in Richmond is seeking a passionate Medical Office Admin to provide administrative support and enhance client interactions. The role requires strong customer service skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a health-related educational background is preferred. You will work Monday through Friday, providing essential support in a busy medical environment. Competitive hourly pay ranging from CA$19 to CA$22. This position is full-time.

Qualifications

  • Experience in in-person and telephonic customer service, ideally in a medical setting.
  • Understanding of medical terminology is an asset.
  • Proven history of providing strong administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Answering the telephone, greeting, and assisting clients.
  • Responding to inquiries and helping clients with problems.
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail, courier, and faxes.
  • Providing administrative support to office manager and clinic director.
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies.

Base pay range

CA$19.00 / hr - CA$22.00 / hr

As a Medical Office Admin , you are passionate about your work and perform with a high level of energy, reliability and pride. Customers and coworkers alike look forward to their interactions with you. Your administrative work is thorough, organized and detail-oriented. You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and an ability to learn new software applications quickly. You have a solid command of the English language and excellent communication skills. Your work experience demonstrates success in providing customer service and strong administrative support.

Anticipated Work Schedule :

Monday From : 06 : 30 : 00 AM To : 3 : 00 : 00 PM

Tuesday From : 06 : 30 : 00 AM To : 3 : 00 : 00 PM

Wednesday From : 06 : 30 : 00 AM To : 3 : 00 : 00 PM

Thursday From : 06 : 30 : 00 AM To : 3 : 00 : 00 PM

Friday From : 06 : 30 : 00 AM To : 3 : 00 : 00 PM

Responsibilities include :

  • Answering the telephone, greeting, and assisting clients
  • Responding to inquiries and helping clients with problems
  • Processing incoming and outgoing mail, courier and faxes
  • Providing administrative support under the direction and support of the office manager and clinic director
  • Monitoring and ordering office and clinic supplies
  • Assisting with photocopier / fax maintenance

Qualifications :

  • In-person and Telephonic customer service experience, ideally from a medical clinic setting
  • Understanding of medical terminology is an asset
  • Health-related educational background is preferred
