What You'll Do
  • Obtain laboratory samples from patients.
  • Perform procedures and analyze results per policies.
  • Prepare solutions, reagents, and controls.
  • Respond to test result inquiries.
  • Communicate results to healthcare teams.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
  • Assist in evaluating and developing procedures.
What You Bring

Qualifications:

  • CSMLS certification.
  • Experience in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, Histology, Cytology, Cytogenetics, and Molecular Diagnostics (new graduates welcome).
  • Strong communication, adaptability, patient care commitment.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous health issues, anti-racism, and cultural safety.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and commitments.

Wage: $36.69 - $45.81/hour

Locations: Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond, Powell River, Sechelt, supporting Vancouver Coastal Health and Providence Health Care sites.

Hours: Days, nights, evenings, weekends.
