What You'll Do

As a key member of our 24/7 multidisciplinary team, you will:

• Obtain laboratory samples from patients.
• Perform procedures and analyze results per policies.
• Prepare solutions, reagents, and controls for analysis following SOPs.
• Respond to test result inquiries.
• Communicate results appropriately.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Assist in evaluating and developing technical procedures and policies.

What You Bring

Qualifications:

• CSMLS certification.
• Experience in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Transfusion Medicine, Histology, Cytology, Cytogenetics, Molecular Diagnostics. (New grads welcome!)
• Strong communication, adaptability, and patient care commitment.
• Knowledge of Indigenous health issues, anti-racism, and cultural safety, with a commitment to equity and systemic change.

Core Competencies:

• Understanding of Indigenous-specific racism and systemic barriers, with initiatives to promote safety and belonging.
• Awareness of social and health impacts of colonialism and racism, and legislative commitments.
