Overview
Provide quality testing in the Laboratory (Immunohaematology, Chemistry, and Haematology) by observing the highest standards according to established policies, processes, and procedures.
Education
- Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology / Science Program.
- Current MLT registration with CMLTO.
Qualifications
- Current Laboratory experience in Immunohaematology, Chemistry, and Haematology in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Experience with laboratory automation and instrumentation, including Ortho ProVue, Roche MPA, Roche Cobas, Sysmex XN, DI-60, CS2500, is preferred.
- Experience with crossmatch, G&S, antibody investigation, R&M, and blood cell morphology is preferred.
- Familiarity with SOFT LIS, Cerner PowerChart HIS, and Paradigm document control program is preferred.
- Experience with quality assurance and quality management is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and function under pressure with variable workload.
