Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our Laboratory department. Under the supervision of the Manager or designate, the Laboratory Assistant performs specimen collection, preparation and testing, and provides related clerical and laboratory support.

This role may include inpatient and/or outpatient ECG testing and Holter monitoring as required, and explains test procedures. Routine equipment cleaning and maintenance are also part of the duties.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 06:00 to 14:00, 10:00 to 18:00, 12:00 to 20:00 (rotating)
