Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBH) is a 75-bed acute care facility in the Kootenay Boundary health service area, responsible for core medical and surgical specialty services. Located in Trail, between Grand Forks and Nelson, KBH provides services including physician specialties, 24-hour emergency and trauma services, Level 2 laboratory, acute and obstetrical care, psychiatry, and chemotherapy.
Medical Laboratory Assistants perform duties such as collecting blood and specimen samples from patients, preparing samples for analysis, conducting routine lab tests, distributing specimens, operating related equipment, entering data into the LIS, and performing clerical duties and ECG testing as required.
This is a permanent part-time position (0.82 FTE).
