Job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) to join our friendly and professional family practice in Downtown Toronto, Ontario. The primary responsibilities will involve performing phlebotomies and receptionist duties.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct blood draws and sample collection accurately and safely.
• Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the phlebotomy area.
• Assist with patient check-in, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks.
• Answer phones, greet patients, and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Provide excellent patient service and ensure confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements :

• Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA).
• Experience in phlebotomy is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and compassionate approach to patient care.
