About The Job

Shuswap Lake General Hospital is a 42-bed facility in the Thompson-Cariboo-Shuswap health service area. Located in Salmon Arm, BC, the hospital provides services including surgical, inpatient, obstetrics, and 24-hour emergency care.

Medical Laboratory Assistants perform duties such as collecting blood and specimen samples from patients, preparing specimens for analysis, performing routine lab tests, distributing specimens to departments and external labs, operating related equipment, entering data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS), and performing clerical duties and ECG testing as required.

This is a Permanent Full-Time (1.00 FTE) opportunity.
