Job Description

PrimeVigilance is seeking a Medical Information Associate responsible for supporting the Medical Information team in handling initial adverse event and medical information inquiries in English.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide approved responses to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmaceutical clients, including call handling.
  2. Identify, document, and report adverse events, side effects, pregnancy-related events, and product quality complaints within required timeframes.
  3. Track and document all medical information inquiries accurately within the database.
  4. Participate in out-of-hours medical information provision for clients with a 24/7 enquiry service.
  5. Provide management with regular updates on project status and enquiry metrics.
  6. Assist in regulatory inspection preparedness for pharmacovigilance systems and participate in PV inspections or audits.
Qualifications
  1. Degree in life sciences or biomedical field (chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, nursing).
  2. Customer service or call centre experience preferred.
  3. Comfortable handling inquiries by phone.
  4. Ability to perform out-of-hours service if required.
  5. Strong organizational, time management, issue management, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Proficiency in English and French, both verbal and written.
