Job Purpose

The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician is responsible for providing clean, disinfected, and sterile medical devices to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications

  • Canadian Standards Association certification as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician.
  • Ability to attend work regularly.
  • Ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Good work record.

  • Collection, cleaning, decontamination, reprocessing, and delivery of medical devices.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Inventory management, ordering, and restocking supplies used in the reprocessing process.
